SLICK &
SLIMBER (2-part feature pilot & 23 episodes ready)
by Justin Olson (action-comedy)
Two bickering Mutt & Jeff-type brothers, penguins, who happen
to be detectives working on the case of their lives with their
own brand of tongue-in-beak humor. A case involving corrupt
government officials, squid-like aliens, and diabolical
schemes.
THE FEATURES
Detectives Slick and Slimber find themselves in a media spotlight after diffusing a crazy
hostage situation in the middle of the city. The police captain decides to take advantage
of their inexperience and sudden infamy to handle a homicide investigation they aren't
meant to solve.
SLICK &
SLIMBER II
Part II expands upon the title characters and reveals a
surprisingly connected backstory for these two squabbling
siblings as they vacation in an exciting tropical location.
SLICK & SLIMBER - THE ANIMATED SERIES
The series picks up where the pilots leaves off, Sam
pulling together a team of specialists to combat the Atlantean
threat world-wide. She brings Slick and Slimber aboard this
new ATF (Atlantean Task Force) as well as a diverse and
culturally rich group of new characters. The series explores
the mythologies of the Atlanteans and unravels mysteries as
complicated and intriguing as any X-Files episode.
Although suitable for younger audiences, the content is geared
more towards young adults: characters are killed or seriously
injured, and romantic relationships develop between the humans.
A first-issue script for a SLICK & SLIMBER COMIC BOOK based
on the animated series is completed.
SLICK & SLIMBER is a ride that delivers. Audiences will laugh
- and think - while sitting on the edge of their seats.

by Steve Kennison
The controversial true story about a man who made his mark in
the history books w/ his rebellious spirit and amazing

SONGBIRD
by Frank Silvestro
Frankie Santiago has the voice of an angel.
Fresh from reform school, he's inducted into the choir at St.
Michael's, a condition of his probation, where he meets another
silver-throated young songbird, Bobby Catrone.
At first fierce competitors, the two become best friends. Both basically juvenile
delinquents, Bobby is a made-Mafia-man in training; Frankie has spent most of the last
five years in the Youth House. The two are on like paths in life.
They rob cars, warehouses, and drug dealers--and generally charm most of the young ladies
in and around their Manhattan neighborhood.
One night, tragedy strikes. One is destined to lose his voice and much more. The other
will try to make the desperate crossover, the life-change to the mainstream music business
and the American Dream in general.
But he finds snakes there as venomous, if not more so, as any in the streets and alleys of
New York. He finds and loses true love, learns the meaning of friends and family.
A surprising climax in the "Once Square Madison Garden" rocks the music
world--and the house-down.
Marc Anthony's (6) songs make thisscript come alive. We're attempting to attach this
fast-rising musical star to . . . SONGBIRD.
THE AUTHOR
(a female AMADEUS!)
by Ana O
An adaptation of OUIDA REVISITED: A CASE OF REINCARNATION
(Franklin Press 1996) by same.
The most celebrated & highest-paid author in the Victorian
literary world is now obscure. Perhaps the "circular madness"
accounts for that curse? But is not melancholy punishment
enough for one poor wracked soul; more importantly, is mania
culpable?
Set in England & Italy, this high-budget film might be shot
solely in Tuscany, more specifically near Cortona, in San
Francisco poet Frances Mayes's newly refurbished 13th c.
Tuscan mansion named Bramisole (means "yearns for the sun"),
the perfect house / setting to depict the Villa Farinola,
Ouida's Florence residence of 23 years as well as the English
countryside & Old London.
This story calls for an extraordinary actor to portray the
gamin-like (even grotesque-looking) mini person named Ouida
at ages (11), 16, & 30 to 69. (Lili Taylor?) A Demi Moore
type could immortalize Ouida's antagonist to a tee -- and play
the next lead, in THE OUIDA LINK sequel. An astonishingly
dramatic life!
THE OUIDA LINK
(reincarnation)
by Ana O
Sequel to THE AUTHOR (see Biopics)
A partial adaptation of OUIDA REVISITED: A CASE OF
REINCARNATION (Franklin Press 1996) by same.
Set in Baton Rouge & New Orleans, a modern-day romance writer
is confronted -- ironically, thru her dreams -- by a notorious
personality who lived a hundred years before her. World-
renowned author, Ouida (1839-1908) is bipolar, prolific and
an instant, lifelong, blockbuster success, yet destined to
obscurity by her posterity.
When Ria Peroni, troubled, ex-nun, boring marriage, also
diagnosed as bipolar, efforts at puzzling out this unusual
contact and its relevance to her own life & writing career, all
fronts seem to indicate Ria is the reincarnation of Ouida --
come back to make amends, perhaps? A true story that's both
viable & incredulous.
THE QUEEN OF
ARTS
by Norman Card
THE QUEEN OF ARTS is the loving and subtly comic story of the
life of Isabella Stewart Gardner, who flagrantly scandalizes
Victorian Boston, and creates her unique legacy, the Isabella
Stewart Gardner Museum.
In 1991 the Gardner suffers the largest art theft in history:
eleven pieces valued by the FBI at $300,000,000. The crime
remains unsolved, but the spirit of The Queen of Arts still
reigns.
Note: The museum itself is preparing a documentary of this
extraordinary woman whose looks defied beauty yet she attracted some of the most handsome
men in the world because of her appealing personality. She was a personal patron to famed
Boston artist John Singer Sargent & a contemporary of Ouida,
Henry James & Edith Wharton, and Oscar Wilde, all of whom she
hob-nobbed with.
WHOREHOUSEROUX
(surreal noir but humorous)
by Ana O
An adaptation of the novella whorehouseRoux, Ana O's first
fiction, published on its virgin run to the book market (Muse's
Mill 1988) & 5 times thereafter, this true story plays on every
stereotype of exploitation of the prostitute as well as mental
illness as it deftly twists Cliche into Singularity.
Mary Louise Rossi is bipolar, divorced & displaced. Mary Lou
has earned the distinction of curing herself of manic
depression -- through her self-devised "literotherapy." Her
diaries / journals become a premium commodity as her therapist,
her lover, and her only son vie for the rights to her story.
Yes, its fictional ending is a kind of slasher, based on a
back-page story that appeared in a German newspaper in October 1983.
A Molly Grindwald type, even a Susan Sarandon, could pull off
this impish 35-45 yr old redhead beauty's unique & vibrant
role.
Note: The issue of bipolar disorder / manic depression has
recently been publically espoused & championed by our Vice
President's wife, Tipper Gore: Mrs Gore suffers from same.
Fantasy
SNOW
(action-adventure)
by Justin Olson
Inspired by elements of myth & legend, at its heart SNOW is the
story of a young woman trying to discover her past while
agonizing about her future. Amanda Snow is the adopted
daughter of a wealthy San Francisco family. She's ready to
graduate from college w/ a degree in anthropology, has
aspirations of becoming an actress, and a talent for kick-
boxing.
What's missing? Amanda has no idea where she came from (or why she has white hair &
eyes), nor does she have a clue as to
what's in store for her future, nor why she's being plagued by
startling dreams & images of a land unknown to her yet seems so
familiar.
An epic story filled w/ grand battles between strange
creatures, powerful forces, and personal demons. The
characters are richly drawn and smartly written, and the plot
is complex enough to support further installments w/ out
rehashing the original.
Horror
DARKFALL
by Justin Olson
DARKFALL, is not a teen horror film, although it has teenagers in it; and the main
character is a teen.
It's not merely an action film although it contains a wild chase scene involving a horse,
a motorcycle, and a flying creature made of earth.
It's not just a drama, even though it portrays the struggles of a young girl, her unknown
origin and an even more uncertain future.
DARKFALL combines all these elements, along with those of religious symbolism and even a
wild sword fight that harkens back to the days of Zorro.
Unless you're making a James Bond film, you can't be satisfied to give the audience the
too-often-stale staples of a genre they may know better than you: the ditzy virgin, the
silent invincible slasher, and high school cut-ups who get cut up while checking out
creepy noises in an empty house or fog-flooded cemetery. . .
WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT (teen slasher)
by Robert de Villiers

know who to trust. Should they lock themselves in the house, or make a run for it? SLASH
SLASH! I think it's about time we
turned on the lights!

by Robert de Villiers

consequences when they decide to delve into the world of the occult via the Ouija Board.
It's an

-- w/ a beautiful antique Ouija Board. Shooting shards of
shattered glass, blazing books and furniture in flight cause
chaos at their unwitting command.
They try to stop . . . S-A-M? Is that who's
escaped from the
pressed wood w/ the alphabet? Unfortunately, before they can get rid of him, Sam gets
personal. Think THE EXORCIST possesses JUMANJI.
SOULMATES

THE COVETING (action-horror)
by Vining Wolff
The background is gothic horror; the story is driven by pure
action. Bloodshed ensues when a gothic Satanism cult stages a
ritualistic massacre, The Coveting, in Victoria, British
Columbia. As the Royal Canadian Mounted Police struggle to end
the carnage, a lone gunman aligned w/ the powers of Heaven
rises from the ashes of the massacre to annihilate the evil
ones.
Sci-Fi
INCIDENTAL
CONTACT (action-thriller)
by Chris Kennison & Steve Kennison
An aging minor-league football player gets his first crack at
the pros, only to find himself embroiled in other-worldly
complicity to win a Superbowl. Sure, it's a football movie,
although nothing like this has been done before. Not to
mention its unique aura of humor.
NIGHT OF THE
LEPUS 2000 (action-comedy)
by Justin Olson
Remake or rehash? Everyone's looking for the next modern
update to a well-loved classic. The 1972 B-movie classic,
NIGHT OF THE LEPUS, about 30-foot rabbits tromping thru a
desert town, lends itself to a remake w/ the potential for
a family-friendly, summer-event film that delivers.
2000 takes the basic premise and revamps it, Godzilla-like,
for the new millennium -- ripe for exploitation. Bigger,
wilder, and hilariously funny.
SECOND COMING
by Rod Cavin . . . based on the novel by Bill Kautz (1999)
A (human) alien comes to Earth and w/ the aid of a beautiful
PR-type woman, delivers an ultimatum to the planet. During the
chaotic period that follows, they reveal our genesis (on

-- & what he knows of our past -- before their staid
institutions are discredited.

MY CUBA
(political action-thriller) *AGENCY PICK*
A young Miami doctor travels to Communist Cuba to bury his
grandfather and becomes ensnared in exile intrigue, romance,
and a high-stakes showdown between Washington and Havana.
A political thriller w/ tropical heat.
The Cuba drama is a great American story that has yet to be
told on film. There are nearly a million Cuban Americans
living in the United States; there are 11 million Cubans on the
island. Most have heartbreaking stories of divided families
and shattered lives.
The co-authors of MY CUBA have had a front-row seat to the Cuba drama for more than a
decade; one, a correspondent for a major U.S. newspaper, the other a former U.S. diplomat
who was privy to intense policy debates over Cuba. THEY KNOW THIS STORY. Think: 6 yr old
Elian Gonzales in today's heated headlines.
